Coping with Stress – Think and Act Positively. Part II

Positive Thinking Sustained by Positive Action Part I

Everything in our lives is about how we perceive things. A positive perception of things would have greater benefits than you ever thought.

Think and Act Positively

Take a deep breath. It’s time for a change. Don’t theorize any more. Take action about your future.

Let’s start with Confidence. How to increase your self-esteem and confidence in seconds? Is it possible, will you be asking. The answer is YES. Adopt a power pose: if you’re standing up, place your feet flat on the floor, push back your shoulders and your chest forward. If you’re sitting down, keep your back muscles straight yet relaxed. Interlock your hands behind your head. Studies had shown the ‘confident pose’ really gives you an increased confidence, power and energy.

Smile. Give life a large smile and she’ll give you prosperity and happiness. Just smile and you’ll feel happier. A study demonstrated that the brain can be fooled with this simple exercise: extend your eyebrow muscles upward and smile for about 20 seconds. You’ll feel a flush of energy and more confidence.

Procrastination. One of the stress causes can be simply overcome by spending just a few minutes doing the first part of a thing you avoid to do. Once you’ve already done the first part, you’ll be more liable to finish the rest.
Willpower. A study has shown that tensing your muscles boosts the willpower. Next time you’ll have something important to do just tense your muscles and do it with confidence.

Guilt. Forget all the sins and forgive yourself. Wash your hands up to the elbows or take a shower. Studies showed that people who made an immoral act and then washed their hands felt significantly less guilty than others.

Persistence. The results of a study in which volunteers were told to solve tricky problems, showed that those who sat up straight and folded their arms struggled on for nearly twice longer than others. Sit up straight and cross your arms when you have something important to accomplish and you need more persistence for that.

If you intend to start a new life, leave away any problem, sins and negative thoughts. A new haircut is said to bring a change in life. It is believed hair, along with genetic information, carries negative information. So, having your hair cut you literally leave negative information.
